A Great Day For Nothing
Last night was rough.
My little guy decided he wasn't sure he wanted to actually sleep. He kept waking up not even really crying. It was a strange weird moaning, fussing blend of a 'cry'. But he wouldn't settle himself, so I felt like I was up and down all night. Then this morning after feeding him we put him back into his crib where he fussed for a little but then seemed to settle. I fell back asleep.
Then I woke up at 10AM!!!!! What? I thought that I must've been so tired that I didn't hear him wake, but when I woke it sounded like he had just started fussing. So basically he either slept the whole time or had been playing for a while in bed. Anyway, 10 is amazing.
Still left me a little out of it, but glad I got to sleep as long as I did in the end.
So that leaves me with the rest of today. A wonderful day of absolutely nothing. What I really mean by that is un planned, unambitious, and relaxing. My house is all tidy and clean since we had friends over last night for dessert so I have been in house heaven. Plus my little monster hasn't terrorized much today which means it's stayed in tact so far. How wonderful.
He has played with his own toys, finally. Not all the things he shouldn't be touching around the house. I don't know what's got into him but I LIKE IT!
Well that's my day. I've been lazing around on-line as I peruse websites, ideas, blog (did you notice I re checked all my labels to make things easier to find - did it work?), and just relax.
Well I'm off to do more perusing and relaxing. Maybe I'll even actually change out of my comfy clothes, or as a certain someone I know might refer 'my giving up on life' clothes. However I did not choose to give up on my life, just enjoy it as it is, and be comfortable while doing so - don't worry I haven't left the house yet.
;)
Samuel was the same Wednesday night! AWFUL. Though I did feel rather refreshed. Maybe it was that I never settled into a deep sleep or something but Yesterday was good. Maybe teeth. The guessing game of parenting :(
