So the past couple of months I've been planning and getting things ready for Christmas at Lizzie Bits Baby Co. The last couple of days I'd say have been the most packed. Last night and the night before I stayed up well into the night cutting fabric, sewing, and finishing off all the current product I had left to complete and sell before the end of the year. It's been exciting, VERY productive and well overall fun to be able to work this hard on my own little project.
I was given the front space at Lizzie Bits for Christmas, and so I pulled together all my store resources (asking for specific groupings of furniture, etc...), and also all the things I've been getting along the way the last couple of months to try and achieve the end look I wanted.
Today I went into the store and set everything up. I took a good friend who helped me. I am still missing the rest of the shoes (37 pairs left, and not sure where their going to be going in the display) and wash cloths to finish. I have aimed at getting them into the store by Friday as the busiest days for them seem to be Monday & Tuesday.
Well, here are the pictures from today, oh and just a couple of the progress that got me to today.

Most of these are done and in the store, but here's all of them together before getting started. |
The remaining 37 pairs of moccasins waiting for their assembly. The cutting of all of these took forever. |

What got me through the late nights...well mostly. |
The final product. Still need to fill with the rest of the wash cloths, and figure out where to put the shoes. Any ideas? |
The shelving. |
Top of display...don't worry you'll see many more pictures as I went camera happy. |
Girl blankets. |
Wash cloths and neutral blankets. |
Boy blankets. |
The fanning of the bibs. |

Can you see the oh so cute zebra moccasins? |
Thanks for following along on my Minikin Monkeys journey & reading about it.
Liz I am so proud and amazed by you!!! This is amazing!!!!! Ideas for displaying the moccasins....I'm not sure of their weight, but could you do a clothesline idea along the back of your display unit and hang them with clothespins? Amazing work! I wish I lived there so I could shop your collection!! xox
ReplyDeleteJen, Thanks so much for your comment. Actually LOVE the idea of the clothes line. I think I'm going to look into seeing how I work it with the space, even if it's just to display a few that would be great!!! Thanks again for the feedback.
ReplyDeleteLove your amazing handiwork, Liz! Wow! And the whole display looks great. I think the clothes line would be cool. The zebra print moccasins are uber adorable. Wish you posted a closer pic though as they are a bit hard to see.
ReplyDeleteHope you sell lots over this Christmas season! Blessings!
