Rough Day
I didn't think I'd be blogging today as I have a whiny 6 1/2 month old who so far has refused to nap, be put down, be outside, be inside, or even be held.
He has opted for playtime feeding, Where he thinks it's funny as he chews on a bottle and gets milk all over himself and everything around him, or feeds with me, and instead of just getting the job done has decided to hit me or himself, kick anything in his way, bite, squirm, and pinch. Every so often he does lift his head look around and then smiles or 'gets back to business'.
Somehow, and I really mean somehow, I have managed to do a load of laundry and put last nights load in the dryer, do some weeding (as a way to get outside for a bit, and help our landlords out - weird thing is I have really enjoyed it. Same as I like shoveling snow. It's a little weird part of me), and even eat breakfast and lunch at some kind of reasonable time.
Okay lunch wasn't the most amazing meal but hey I enjoyed my dip lunch of breads and spinach dip, and baba ganouj. Dip and appetizer finger foods are my favorite. There are so many options and great ideas out there, as well as so simple and enjoyable. You can choose what you want to eat, how much, and well it just makes for a good meal to me.
I have now put Kylun to bed. He is so overtired he doesn't stop rubbing his eyes, and his face is just starting to look droopy from the bags under his eyes. Still fussing in his crib but with moments of hope as his crying whimpers out on and off. I feel terrible for the little guy but all he needs is some rest.
Well once he's asleep I can continue on my list for the day.
1. Fold clothes (the clean ones)
2. Sort the dirty ones and continue to launder through them
3. Put away clothes
4. Make bed with the clean sheets
5. Put the washed sheets in the dryer
6. Wash pots and pans from 2 days ago
7. Use up all my extra veggies and make pasta sauce to freeze, and build pasta casserole
8. Make pizza dough as have wanted to for a week now (maybe we'll just push that to tomorrows plans - again!)
And of course, ... try and get this all done before Pete gets home so that then I can just sit and enjoy the evening, then try again tomorrow (add to tomorrows list after bumping forward what wasn't done today).
Gah, I don't know if this is all possible. We will have to see... :) I go now to rescue the little man who went from whimpering to crying.
Until next time...
I have an amazing and simple pizza dough recipe if youwant it let me know
